Lumi Learners is designed around private family workspaces. Each signed-in parent sees only records connected to that parent’s account, and private learner links are bound to the intended learner.
2. Information we collect
We may store parent names, email addresses, account security information, family settings, learner names and learning levels, lesson plans, progress, questions, ratings, uploaded work, materials, and activity selections.
3. How information is used
Information is used to operate the family workspace, organize learning, display progress, provide account support, protect the service, and improve Lumi Learners. We do not sell family or learner personal information.
4. Children’s information
Parents provide and control learner information. Children do not create public accounts. Parents should upload only information needed for homeschooling and should avoid unnecessary sensitive personal information.
5. Files and links
Private lesson files and learner submissions are stored outside the public WordPress media library and require validated family or learner access. External resource links use a no-referrer policy so private learner-link tokens are not sent to third-party websites.
6. Service providers
WordPress hosting, email delivery, and other technical providers may process limited information to operate the website. Third-party websites have their own privacy practices.
7. Security and retention
We use access controls, hashed credentials and tokens, family-bound records, and other reasonable safeguards. No online service can promise perfect security. Records are retained while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the platform.
8. Your choices
Parents may update account and learner information inside the workspace. Requests to access, correct, export, or delete personal information can be submitted through the contact information on littlelumilearners.com, subject to verification and applicable law.
9. Policy updates
We may update this policy as Lumi Learners changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
